On October 12th, 2018 several members of the Carlinville Fire Department visited CIS to discuss fire safety. The PreK students in all 4 classes learned the "Stop, Drop and Roll" technique and were able to climb through the fire truck. Students in 4th and 5th grades, attended an age specific assembly and participated in several fire drill relays. CIS would like to thank the Carlinville Fire Department for giving their time and sharing their knowledge with our students.
