Students from CIS have been busy making drawings and letters for local Veterans. Representatives from our local VFW post visited the school to receive the gifts. These will be given to local veterans who visit the VFW for Veterans Day and to veterans in assisted living/ nursing homes in our community.
Students have also brought in photos of Veterans in their families. Those photos are displayed in the lobby of the Intermediate School. Almost 75 Veterans are being honored on the wall. This is a favorite tradition at CIS!
